ABOUT Dr Hui He

Having more than 19 years of experience under her belt, Dr Hui uses her acupuncture skills, Chinese herbal medicine knowledge and other practical treatments to help with her clients health needs.

She is registered under AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as both an Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

Dr Hui holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Medicine from Shanghai University of TCM. Before moving to Perth, she spent over 7 years working as a Chinese Medicine Doctor in a Hospital in China. Dr Hui has been practising Acupuncture in Perth for more than 10 years.

Dr Hui is a member of Ahpra, ANTA and CMASA.

  • During each appointment, we will hold consultation sessions first with clients. Clients are encouraged to talk about their issues, history, and concerns. Additional information like dietary and daily habits is both helpful and essential for the practitioner to contemplate the best approach for clients' issues.

    The acupuncture treatment will be delivered after the consultation. Supplementary cupping treatment might be needed depending on the cases.

    Our practitioner would prescribe clients with Traditional Chinese Medicine to have at home after the session. The medicines are manufactured in a way that encapsulates all the goodness into one tablet like the pills we buy from Pharmacies. The medicines are a very important piece of the puzzle for the whole treatment. It aims to restore body balance and encourages the body to heal by itself.

    FOLLOW UP: $85

    Additional cupping treatment +$13 (if required).

  • We take a holistic approach to pain management.

    We will consult first before the treatment. The clients are encouraged to talk about their issues, feelings, and concerns. Clients often find it beneficial to talk about these key points with their practitioners, such as daily habits, working conditions, and postures of their body, etc., It might surprise many that dietary conditions make a big part of pain management as well. So talk to our practitioner about it and anything you feel that relates because everything IS related to your health and well-being.

    The package generally includes delivering acupuncture and cupping treatment together. Infrared Heat Therapy Lamp and/or electrode acupuncture device might be incorporated into the treatment for optimum results at no cost of our clients. These depend on a case-by-case basis and will have a thorough discussion with clients and can change approach with feedback from clients.

    Our practitioner would prescribe Traditional Chinese Medicine for clients to have at home after the session. The medicines are a very important piece of the puzzle for the whole treatment. It aims to restore body balance and encourages the body to heal by itself.

  • These are concentrated herbal pills products brought by leading Australian Chinese Herbal Medicine companies and can only dispensed by Practitioners.

    The products are manufactured under Australian Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, which are regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), part of the federal Department of Health.

    TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE PRICING

  • Our practitioner will begin by conducting a consultation and a general assessment as part of the treatment process. This process is akin to the consultations one would have when visiting a general practitioner (GP). Following this, acupuncture treatment will be administered, tailored to the individual's inner-energy flow and body constitution. Additionally, other traditional Chinese medicine practices such as Cupping and channel scrapping may also be incorporated to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. These supplementary practices are provided at no additional cost to the client during their initial appointment.

    For optimal results, a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine is recommended. Depending on the specific case, the practitioner may prescribe oriental herbal medicine pills for clients to take home following their treatment.

    The session will run approximately 60-70 mins.

  • We are approved providers for major private insurance funds. Our clinic is equipped with a HICAPS POS machine, allowing you to claim your rebate immediately.

    At Authentic Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, you only need to pay the out-of-pocket cost of the treatment. The exact out-of-pocket fee varies depending on your individual insurance policy. If your private health insurance includes extras covering natural therapies or acupuncture, you may be eligible to claim a rebate from your treatment fees with us.

  • It is both the duty of care of the practitioner and a requirement of the Code of Conduct to conduct a consultation before prescribing Chinese Medicine to patients. In Australia, products from major Chinese Medicine brands are exclusively distributed to practitioners, who then dispense them to patients.

    At our Authentic Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic, we provide a consultation-only service for $50 (lasting 20 minutes). Following the consultation, the practitioner will prescribe Traditional Chinese Medicine for patients to purchase. Both the consultation and TCM fees may be eligible for rebate, depending on your private insurance policies.

  • While it's uncommon for us to encounter clients seeking consultation alone for their health needs, we do offer a consultation-only service at our Authentic Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic for $50 (lasting 20 minutes). Clients with specific insurance policies featuring additional coverage can claim rebates for this consultation fee instantly on the spot.
